CONNECTING YOGA AND COMMUNITY
Studio South Foundation partners with non profit organizations, schools and communities to bring sustainable yoga practice to individuals dealing with trauma, mental or physical illness, addiction, incarceration and more. Yoga and other mindful practices reduce stress and anxiety, awaken innate resilience and build inner strength.
We are always interested to learn about additional groups and communities that could benefit from on of our programs.
YOGA FOR YOUTH
All children should have the opportunity to have a supportive, caring community that allows
them to express themselves.
By bringing yoga to our
future generations in schools, neighborhoods, and beyond with a we help spread the benefits of mental, physical, and spiritual health.
As the #MeToo movement continues to grow, we are finding more and more women's voices heard. Using yoga, wellness and mindfulness, our programs help empower women of all backgrounds – those dealing with trauma, addiction, physical ailments and more – to heal, grow and discover their inner strength.
YOGA FOR SENIORS
As we age, we can often find mobility diminished, pain and illness more frequent. By bringing a steady, safe yoga practice into your routine – with chairs and other props to assist, physical movement can improve and breathing strengthens allowing you truly thrive in your golden years.
YOGA FOR EVERYONE
Yoga is for everyone, all body types, all backgrounds, all ages. The benefits of a consistent yoga practice go much further than simply the physical.
